Did God Use the Big Bang in His Creation Process?
No, God did not use the big bang. How God created was written as history, witnessed by God himself, in the first chapter of Genesis. The big bang, however, was never seen by anyone and what was not seen is quite different than what was seen. God tells us in His Word the heavens and earth were created in six days. The big bang model claims the universe formed over billions of years. The Bible tells us God created the stars and the moon on the fourth day, three days after the earth was created. The big bang teaches stars existed billions of years before the earth. Genesis tells us the earth was made from water.
The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live
in it; for He founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.
Psalm 24:1-2
The big bang is nothing more than a foolish belief and bad science. No one has observed the big bang and written down the process. The most you can say about the big bang is it is a theory, a belief about an unobservable past. And what was the reason mankind developed this theory? To keep God out of the picture.
Lift your eyes and look to the heavens; who created all these? He who brings
out the stars one by one and calls them each by name. Because of His great
power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. Do you not know?
Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends
of the earth.
Isaiah 40:26; 28
